Aincourt
Aincourt is a commune with 967 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Val- d'Oise in the Île- de -France region. Residents Aincourtois or Aincourtoises call themselves.
Geography
The community Aincourt located 47 kilometers north- west of Paris. It is located in the Regional Natural Park Vexin français.
Neighboring communities of Aincourt are Genainville and Maudétour -en- Vexin in the north, Arthies in the northeast, Drocourt in the south, Saint- Cyr -en- Arthies in the southwest and Villers -en- Arthies in the northwest.
History
Aincourt was already inhabited in Roman times. In the 11th century it was owned by a local aristocratic family. 1066 came the reign of the Abbey of Notre -Dame de Coulomb. From the late 15th century to the end of the Ancien Régime, the village belonged to various noble families.
