Buhy

Buhy is a commune of 310 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Val- d'Oise in the Île- de -France region. The inhabitants call themselves " Buhyien (ne) s" or " Buhycelien (ne) s".

Geography

The municipality is part of the Regional Natural Park Vexin français and is crossed by the river Cudron, which opens into the Epte.

Neighboring communities of Buhy are Saint -Clair -sur -Epte in the north, La Chapelle -en- Vexin in the east, Montreuil- sur -Epte in the south and Parnes in the West.

History

Philippe Duplessis- Mornay and his family practiced a long time from the local rule in Buhy.
