Alan Hinton

Alan Thomas Hinton ( born October 6, 1942 in Wednesbury ( Sandwell ) ) is a former English football player and coach. His most successful period as a player he spent at Derby County, with whom he won the 1972 and 1975 British Championship.

Playing career

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nottingham Forest

Alan Hinton began his playing career at Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Football League First Division 1961 /62. Already in its second season 1962/63 he developed with 19 goals top scorer of his team.
