Alan Peter Cayetano

Alan Peter " comrade " Schramm Cayetano ( born October 28, 1970 in Mandaluyong City ) is a Filipino politician.

Biography

Study and the start of political career

Cayetano is the son of the late Senator Rene Cayetano. His older sister is the current Senator Pia " Compañera " S. Cayetano.

After attending elementary school and high school the De La Salle University, he studied political science at the University of the Philippines and graduated in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA Political Science ) from. During this time, in 1990 he was also a member of the Student Council of the University. A subsequent post-graduate studies in law at the Ateneo de Manila University Law School, he graduated in 1997 with a Juris Doctor ( JD) and winning the silver medal from the faculty. During his studies, he began his political career with election as a member of the municipal council of Taguig, where he served from 1992 to 1995.
