Alejandro Abad

Alejandro Antonio García Abad ( born September 22, 1962 in Santiago de Chile ) is a Spanish musician, music producer and songwriter.

Three of his albums came with self-written songs on the market in the 1980s. After that, he was active as a composer for other artists. He was selected by the broadcaster TVE to represent Spain at the Euro Vision Song Contest in Dublin in 1996. His self-composed pop song Ella no es ella was ranked 18th He was a composer of the winning song at the OTI Festival in 1993 and 1995.

From the 2000s he was primarily a music producer for artists such as Marcos Llunas, David Civera or Paulina Rubio. In between was Abad jury member of various talent shows or song festivals, such as the fourth and fifth season of Operación Triunfo.
