Alexander Grünwald

Alexander Grünwald ( born May 1, 1989 in Klagenfurt) is an Austrian football player at the position of midfielder. Since 2011 he plays for FK Austria Wien in the Austrian Bundesliga and is the current U-21 national team.

Career

Youth

Gruenwald began his active career as a football player at his sixth birthday, the national holiday in 1995 when he was picked up by the young of FC Kärnten. There he held various youth leagues before joining in June 2003 in the junior section of FK Austria Wien in the Austrian capital.
