Alexandru Curtean

Paul Alexandru Curtean ( born March 27, 1987 in Sibiu) is a Romanian football player. He stands in January 2014 Botev Plovdiv in the Bulgarian A Grupa under contract.

Career

The career began at Gaz Metan Medias Curtean, where he came into the squad for the first team in 2003, which at that time in the second Romanian league, the Divizia B (since 2006 Liga II ) played. After he was initially largely ignored, he came increasingly from the season 2005/ 06 for use, but was able to maintain over a longer period of time than a regular player rarely. In 2008, with his crew, he managed to climb into the league 1, the top division in Romania. There, he finally became a regular player of Gaz Metan and was able to achieve 2008/ 09 seven goals in the first round.

During the winter break Curtean left the club and joined the FC Timişoara in, who starred at the table top. According to the vice championship in 2009 he moved into the next season with his club in the group stage of the Champions League. The 2009/10 season he finished with his team from the qualifiers for UEFA Europa League, where he was used only in half of the games. In the season 2010/11 he won back his place, but was rarely used as of October 2010. At the end of the season he won with his team behind Oţelul Galaţi the runner-up. His club was subsequently denied admission to the 2011/12 season, so he was relegated to the Liga II. During the winter break of 2011/12 he left Timişoara and switched to first division side Dinamo Bucharest. There he could win the Cup victory in 2012 his first title.

Beginning of 2014 he moved with his teammates Srdjan Luchin Botev Plovdiv in the Bulgarian to A Grupa.
