Geographical Location

Alster village lies on the eponymous Alster, which flows through the district from northeast to southwest. Clockwise Alstersdorf bordered to the east by the Ohlsdorf district, to the south and Winterhude Eppendorf, and to the west by Groß Borstel.

History
