Altmittweida

Altmittweida is a municipality in Waldhufendorf form in the district of Central Saxony Saxony. It is located about one kilometer south of the city Mittweida.

Adjacent communities are Lichtenau, Claussnitz, Königshain - Wiederau and the city Mittweida.

History

Church

1739 Baroque church was built after the year before the previous building burned to the tower. The tower was completed in 1743 crown.

Economy and infrastructure

Altmittweida lies on the railway line Riesa- Chemnitz and Elsterwerda and Chemnitz served by regional trains running every hour. From Monday to Friday except on public holidays is to Mittweida and the Chemnitz hour compressed to a half hour.

The nearest motorway junction is Chemnitz- Dresden - Erfurt Ost 4 seven kilometers to the south on the motorway. Altmittweida has a kindergarten (kindergarten "beehive " ) and a primary school

School

The primary school Altmittweida has an adjoining gymnasium, except for the school sports even gymnastics, table tennis and volleyball stattfinden.In school are each taught a class in grades 1-4. The school works closely with the kindergarten.
