Ancasti Department
The department Ancasti located in the south of the province of Catamarca in northwestern Argentina and is one of the 16 administrative units in the province.
It is bordered to the north by the department of El Alto, to the east by the department of La Paz and to the west by the departments Capayán and Valle Viejo.
The capital of the department is the same Ancasti.
