Anderson Luís de Abreu Oliveira ( born April 13, 1988 in Porto Alegre), known as Anderson, is a Brazilian football player and currently plays for Serie A club Fiorentina. He was considered one of the greatest talents of Brazil and is also known as Ronaldinho with his left foot.

Club career

Anderson began his career with the club of his hometown Gremio Porto Alegre. The lanky attacking midfielder (1.76 m, 69 kg) immediately dropped to its elegant style of play and is also a gifted technician. FC Porto secured the youngster in 2005 for € 5 million. The player is awarded a contract until 2008 and Porto secured 70 % of the transfer rights. With the club he was at first champion in 2006. In May 2007 he was engaged by Manchester United for € 31.5 million. He wears the number 8 In 2008, he won the Champions League in addition to the championship with Manchester. On 23 February 2010 the Brazilian moved in a league match against West Ham United to a torn ACL and fell for the rest of the season. In Manchester, however, he never could prevail correctly.

On January 18, 2014 Anderson was loaned to the end of the season in the Italian Serie A at Fiorentina.

National

Anderson was voted the best player in the U-17 World Cup in Peru in 2005. In this tournament, he scored two goals.

His debut in the Brazilian national team gave Anderson during the Copa America on 27 June 2007 against Mexico. Because of its sustained cruciate ligament injury to participate in the World Cup in South Africa was impossible. Even before his injury, the midfielder was with coach Dunga but in any case no longer first choice.
