Andraž Pograjc

Andraž Pograjc (born 26 August 1991 Trbovlje ) is a Slovenian ski jumper.

Career

Pograjc made ​​his international debut at the FIS Junior competitions age of 13 in his home Kranj. After two 61 places it was used internationally in the following year and reached the FIS race in Predazzo went straight to fifth place. After two podiums in Ljubno at the FIS Cup and other top - 10 finishes in FIS races, he gave in January 2007 with 15 years of its debut in the FIS Ski Jumping Continental Cup. With a 43rd place in Planica he remained devoid of points. In the summer of 2007 and the beginning of the season 2007/ 08 he landed in the FIS Cup and FIS races rarely among the top 20 in January 2008, he received another opportunity in the Continental Cup to start. On 4 July 2009 Pograjc missed 11th place in the Continental Cup in Kranj barely a place in the top ten. After various results he was first returned to the Alps Cup, but has already won the second competition in Oberstdorf. Despite some good placings he only started in July 2010, again in the Continental Cup in Kranj. The Slovenian Championships 2010 in Kranj he won silver again together with Rok Mandl, and Jernej Damjan Automatic Kramarsic. After the Continental he was not successful again, he found himself again in October 2010 in the Alpine Cup again.

In the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2011 in Otepaeae he reached in team jumping, together with Rok Justin, Marjan Jelenko and Nejc Dežman fifth place. In individual he landed on the 49th place. The Slovenian Championships 2011 in Kranj he won the team silver. In July 2011, he succeeded in his first Continental Cup competitions in Courchevel with space 30 immediately secured a points win. Also in Engelberg, he won points. In Titisee -Neustadt on the Hochfirstschanze he just missed the podium with fourth place. Following a rather mixed results he could to the end of the season to increase its performance again, reaching eighth place in Kuopio. The 2011/12 season he finished on the 42nd place overall. The Slovenian Championships 2012, he won the first competition in the team competition, together with Automatic Kramarsic, Ziga Mandl and Tim Babnik silver and in the second competition with Mandl, Jernej Damjan Kramarsic and the bronze medal. On 15 March 2012, he got the chance in ski flying as part of the Ski Jumping World Cup in Planica to start, but missed with 34th place in qualifying the leap into the competitive round.

After he was disqualified in the summer of 2012 in Stams and in Kranj No. 34 missed the points, he only started in September in the Continental Cup. In the second competition in Lillehammer he reached the 17th place again a place in the top twenty. Even a short time later in Hinzenbach as part of the Ski Jumping Grand Prix, he won 27th place four points, which was on the 78th place. In December 2012, he reached in his first Continental Cup competition of the season 2012/13 in Almaty at first the 10th Place. The Slovenian Championships 2013 in Kranj he won jointly with Rožle Žagar, Ziga Mandl and Automatic Kramarsic the bronze medal in the team competition. In the individual he was fifth. After a fourth place in the first and tenth place in the second event, he reached the third jump with the second place his first Continental Cup podium of his career.
