Andrea Dettling

Andrea Dettling ( born January 19, 1987 in Altendorf ) is a Swiss ski racer. It belongs to the national team of Swiss-Ski and goes into the disciplines of Downhill, Super-G, giant slalom and combined at the start.

Biography

In December 2002, Dettling denied her first FIS races, bets in the European Cup was followed in December 2004. In 2006, it achieved its first success when she Fourth of departure was at the Junior World Cup and won the Swiss Championship in the combination. On January 6, 2007, she made her first appearance in the World Cup, the giant slalom in Kranjska Gora.

During the 2007/ 08 season Dettling came mostly in the European Cup for use. With a win and six other podium finishes she reached the sixth place in the overall and third place in the downhill standings. On 10 February 2008, she took 19th place of the super -G in Sestriere, the first World Cup points. My best ever World Cup result is a third place they went out on January 26, 2009 in Cortina d' Ampezzo in the Super -G. At their first World Cup participation in 2009 in Val d'Isere, she was 22 in the giant slalom, but fell in the super -G and super combined. At the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver in 2010, she was twelfth in the Super G and 23 in the Super Combined, the giant slalom she could not finish.

The 2010/11 season had Dettling prematurely after two shoe rim bruises end of January. Because chronic pain due to this injury she could not attend races in the season 2011/12 on. Since November 2012 Dettling is back in the World Cup at the start.
