Andrei Gavrilin

Andrei Jurjewitsch Gawrilin (Russian: Андрей Юрьевич Гаврилин; born July 24, 1978 in Karaganda, Kazakh SSR ) is a Kazakh professional ice hockey player who stands since 2007 Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Andrei Gawrilin began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of the HK Avangard Omsk, for the first team, he made his debut in the Russian Super League in the 1997/98 season. After he started the following season in Omsk second team in the third-class Perwaja League, the attacker first moved to HC Traktor Chelyabinsk from the Super League. He then went to the league rivals HK Lipetsk, with whom he descent into second-rate Wysschaja League 2000. There he was active until 2004 with his team. He then got a contract with Kasachmys Karaganda in Kazakh its homeland, with whom he won the league and cup double in 2005/ 06. After moving the team to Satbäjew Following this success, Gawrilin could repeat the Cup victory in 2007 with Kasachmys.

In the summer of 2007 Gawrilin received a contract with Barys Astana, for he was a year in the Wysschaja League was initially active. Since the 2008/ 09 season, he is for the team in the newly formed Kontinental Hockey League on the ice.

Internationally

For Kazakhstan Gawrilin adopted the B World Championships in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2011 and the A World Cup, 2010. In addition, he was in his country's squad for the qualification for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver.
