Mike Lundin

Mike Lundin (* 24 September 1984 in Burnsville, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since June 2013 at the Barys Astana in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Mike Lundin began his career as a hockey player in the team of the University of Maine, where he was active from 2003 to 2007. With his University, he won it in the 2003/04 season the championship of the Hockey East. Then the defender in the NHL Entry Draft, was selected in the fourth round in 2004 when a total of 102 players from the Tampa Bay Lightning. For Tampa he was in the 2007/ 08 season his debut in the National Hockey League. He prepared in 81 games against six goals. In his rookie year he was able to draw attention to themselves with good performances, so he was allowed to participate in the NHL Young Stars Game on January 16, 2008. In his second season in the professional area of the links Sagittarius came to 25 NHL missions and it was only during the season in Tampa's farm team in the American Hockey League, the Norfolk Admirals used. During the 2009/10 season he again played predominantly in the NHL for the Lightning.

9 July 2011 Lundin signed a contract for one year with the Minnesota Wild. A year later he was again obliged as a free agent by the Ottawa Senators. On June 11, 2013 it was announced that Lundin changes to Barys Astana in the Continental Hockey League.
