Andrew Wooten

Andrew Wooten ( born September 30, 1989 in Bamberg ) is a German - American soccer player who is under contract with 1.FC Kaiserslautern.

Career

Clubs

The striker played until 2009 Wormatia Worms, before the league rivals 1.FC Kaiserslautern II changed, for whom he scored in two seasons of the Regionalliga West 18 goals in 46 league games. Here he extended his contract on 6 May 2011 to 30 June 2012. During the season 2011/12 he was charged with 20 goals for FCK reserve the second scorer in the Regionalliga West.

On March 3, 2012 ( 24th Round ) Wooten debuted in the Bundesliga when he came on in the first team a 0-0 draw at home against VfL Wolfsburg in the 68th minute for Pierre De Wit. On April 21, 2012 ( 32 Matchday) he stood against Hertha BSC first time in the starting of the 1st FC Kaiserslautern and scored in a 2-1 away win his first Bundesliga goal. In April 2012 he signed his first professional players contract with 1.FC Kaiserslautern in June 2015, which applies to the first and second Bundesliga.

On August 23, 2012 Wooten moved on loan to second division until 2013 Movers SV Sandhausen, for whom he scored seven goals in the 2012/13 season in 28 games. On 14 January 2014, the FSV Frankfurt committed him on loan until the end of the season.

Wooten was invited to courses of U-23 national team of the United States during the 2011/12 season.
