Anfinn Kallsberg

Anfinn Kallsberg ( born November 19, 1947 in Klaksvík ) is a Faroese politician, former Prime Minister of the Faroe Islands and Chairman of the Conservative People's Party ( Fólkaflokkurin ).

Biography

Anfinn Kallsberg is the son of housewife Katrina and the foreman Gunnar Kallsberg from Klaksvík. He is married to Berghild, born Matras Viðareiði, with whom he has three children. The family lives in Viðareiði.

After an apprenticeship to the office trading merchant in Klaksvík Kallsberg be made ​​in 1974 as an accountant independently. From 1974 to 1980 he was also a member of the Council of the Commune Viðareiði. Since 1980 he is a member of Løgtings, which he chaired from 1991 to 1993. The Faroese state government he belonged 1983-1985, 1989 and 1996-1998 as Minister.
