Anne Sofie von Otter ( born May 9, 1955 in Stockholm ) is a Swedish mezzo-soprano.

Life

Anne Sofie von Otter was born on 9 May 1955 in Stockholm, the daughter of the diplomat Baron Göran von Otter. She grew up in Stockholm, Bonn and London.
