Annette Edmondson

Annette Edmondson (born 12 December 1991 in Adelaide ) is an Australian racing driver who is active on rail and road.

Sports career

In the oceanic Radmeisterschaften the Junior 2007 Annette Edmondson won three gold medals in the sprint, keirin and in the track cycling; in the team sprint, she won jointly with Chloe Hosking the silver medal. In the juniors train Championships 2008 in Cape Town, she was third in the sprint. In addition, she won six national junior titles in various disciplines.

Since 2010 Edmondson moves into the elite class and were in their first year at the Australian track championships already on the podium. In 2011 she was Australian champion in Omnium and Scratch. In the UCI Track World Championships 2012 in Melbourne, she was with Melissa Hoskins and Josephine Tomic second in the team pursuit. 2013, it was at the UCI Track World Championships 2013 in Minsk together with Melissa Hoskins and Amy Cure Vice World Champion in the Team Pursuit; in the individual pursuit and in the Omnium, she won the bronze medal. Family

Annette Edmondson is an older sister of the cyclist Alexander Edmondson. Both were nominated for the 2012 Olympic Games in London so that they are the first pair of siblings from Australia, which starts at the same games in cycling.
