Anton Lazarev

Anton Pavlovich Lazarev (Russian Антон Павлович Лазарев; born 29 May 1990 in Chelyabinsk, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is since May 2013 in Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Anton Lazarev began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the junior department of the HC Traktor Chelyabinsk, in which he was active until 2006. Then moved the winger to Moskovskaya Oblast Chimik, for its first team he played for two years in the Russian Super League. To be included in the newly formed Continental Hockey League, the club changed its name prior to the 2008/09 season in Atlant Mytischtschi. For Atlant he spent two years playing regularly in the KHL before it ran aground in the season 2010/11 exclusively for the Farm Team HK Ryazan in the subprime Wysschaja Hockey League and Atlants Junior team in the Junior League multinational Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. In the MHL he had for Mytischtschi Atlanti played already in the 2009/10 season.

For the 2011/12 season Lazarev was committed by the KHL Metallurg Novokuznetsk participants. In May 2013, he moved along with Alexei Efimov to Awtomobilist Yekaterinburg.

Internationally

For Russia Lazarev took part in the U18 World Youth Championship 2008, where he won the silver medal with his team.
