Apple Worldwide Developers Conference

The Worldwide Developers Conference ( German global developer conference, often abbreviated as WWDC ) is an annual Apple conference held in California, which is aimed primarily at software developers for Mac OS X and iOS. In contrast, the Macworld aimed at end users. The conference begins with a keynote that Apple uses often present to future products, then there will be lectures and workshops.

While the first WWDC 1983 still held in Monterey, the venue is now the Moscone Center in San Francisco. All participants must sign a confidentiality agreement (English non-disclosure agreement NDA). WWDC 2001

WWDC 2003

WWDC 2004

Approximately 3,500 developers attended. There were new Cinema Displays in 20 " -, 23" - presented and 30 "widescreen. There was a preview of Mac OS X 10.4 " Tiger". WWDC 2006

4200 developers from 48 countries attended the event, which made ​​it the largest ever WWDC. There were 140 presentations and 100 "hands-on labs " for developers. Over 1,000 Apple developers were on site.

WWDC 2007

WWDC 2008

The WWDC 2008 was held from June 9 to 13 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. For the first time a WWDC was "sold out" in advance.

WWDC 2009
