Arbil Province

The governorate of Arbil (Arabic أربيل, DMG Arbīl, Turkish Erbil, Kurdish Hewler هەولێر ) located in the northeast of Iraq and is part of the Autonomous Region of Kurdistan. It is adjacent to the provinces of Ninawa, Kirkuk, As - Sulaymaniyah, Dahuk and Salah ad-Din. Arbil has an area of ​​15,074 km ² and forms part of the border between Iraq, Turkey and Iran.
