Arne Hoel

Arne Hoel ( born April 5, 1927 in Skoger; † 10 September 2006 in the northern beach ) was a Norwegian ski jumper.

His first big success came Hoel, who started for Lyn Oslo in the Svenska Skidspelen 1947 in Sundsvall, where he won the special jumping. 1951, when the Svenska Skidspelen were held again in Sundsvall, he scored behind Karl Holmström second place. The Holmenkollen Ski Festival - he won for the first time in 1948 and 1951 again. At the Olympic Winter Games 1952 in Oslo Hoel jumped to 6th place. Four years later at the Olympic Winter Games 1956 in Cortina d' Ampezzo, he was eleventh.
