Arnold Kruiswijk

Arnold Kruiswijk ( born November 2, 1984 in Groningen) is a Dutch football player. Since the season 2010/11 the defenders in the Eredivisie stands at SC Heerenveen under contract.

Career

Association

Kruiswijk began playing football in the youth department of the VV Appingedam. In 1997, he then moved into the junior boarding school of FC Groningen. In the 2001 /02 season he joined the first team of the FCG. In the second half the same season he was against Ajax Amsterdam his professional debut in the Eredivisie. Over the coming years, he became the top performers of the team. On September 10, 2006 he scored the fastest own goal in the history of the Eredivisie. In the league game against Heracles Almelo Kruiswijk defeated after nine seconds back pass his own goalkeeper Bas Roorda.

In summer 2008, the center-back signed with the Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht a four -year contract. There he completed his first year in the First Division 17 games. With Anderlecht it was the end of the season runner-up. After he was no longer considered in the 2009/10 season, he moved on loan to Roda JC Kerkrade back in the Eredivisie. Here, the central defender was able to show in 17 games of the season, which ultimately led to him committed for the season 2010/11 sc Heerenveen for four years.

National

For U -21 Football Championship in 2006 and U -21 Football Championship in 2007 Kruiswijk was appointed to the cadre of U -21 in the Netherlands.
