Artemi Panarin

Artemi Sergeyevich Panarin (Russian Артемий Сергеевич Панарин; born 30 October 1991 in Korkino, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player who is under contract with SKA St. Petersburg in the Kontinental Hockey League since January 2013.

Career

Artemi Panarin began his career as a hockey player in the junior department of Vityaz Chekhov, for the first team he was in the 2008 /09 season his debut for the Kontinental Hockey League newly established. In his rookie year he was preparing a goal in five games. In the following season the winger ran parallel to the professional team of Vityaz Chekhov in the KHL on, and to their junior team in the multinational junior league Molodjoschnaja Chokkeinaja league. In the KHL he scoring eight points scorer in 20 games, including a goal in the MHL 47 scorer points in 41 games.

In the season 2010/11 final Panarin sat by the professional team of Vityaz and earned itself a permanent place. He scored 26 points scorer in 38 KHL games so that it aroused the interest of other KHL teams and was loaned to the Ak Bars Kazan in January 2012. For the 2012/13 season he first returned to Vityaz, before he was released in January 2013 in exchange for a right to vote for the KHL Junior Draft 2013 at the SKA Saint Petersburg. In The KHL play-offs in 2013 he excelled with 9 points scorer in 14 games so his contract in late April of the same year was extended by two years.

Internationally

For Russia Panarin took part in the U20 World Youth Championship in 2011, when he won the gold medal with his team. To win the title he wore with three goals and two assists in seven games. He scored two of those goals in the final match against Canada, including the game -winning goal for interim 4:3.
