AS Pescina Valle del Giovenco

The AS Pescina Valle del Giovenco ( officially: Associazione Sportiva Pescina Valle del Giovenco ) was an Italian football club from Pescina, a town from the Abruzzo region. The club colors were white and green. As the stadium club served the Stadio Dei Marsi in Avezzano, it could seat 3,692 spectators.

History

The club was founded in 2005 and took in the season 2005 /06 for the first time participated in a regular league play. The team got into Excellenza Abruzzese in a division of the regional amateur operation and could qualify later for the Series D one year. In the following season, the team placed as the winner of Girone F on a promotion place and was able to after only two years to celebrate the first rise in a professional league. The upward trend of Abruzzo Association also continued in the 2007/ 08 season, when he finished second in the Girone C the fourth- highest division, and thereby allowed to participate in the play-offs for promotion to the next higher league.
