Asano Nagasato

Nagasato Asano ( jap永 里 亜 纱 乃, Nagasato Asano; born January 24, 1989 in Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture) is a Japanese football player who plays for 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam.

She is the sister of the Japanese national team football Yūki Ogimi.

Career

The younger sister of Yūki Ogimi debuted in 2007 for the club NTV Beleza in the Nihon Joshi Soccer League, the highest Japanese league. With Beleza it was 2007, 2008 and 2010 champion of the league. In the 2012 season with 19 goals Nagasato was the second top scorer in the league. In February 2013, it signed a half year contract with 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam, where she will play with her sister together.

In 2008, she participated with the Japanese U-20 national team at the World Cup in Chile, reaching their team the quarterfinals. Nagasato was also voted into the All- Star team. Also in 2008, she debuted in the Japanese national team.

The striker is since 1 February 2013 for half a year at the 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam under contract.
