Ingrid Wells ( born March 29, 1989 in New York City, New York) is an American soccer player who is under contract with 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam in the Women's Premier League since the 2013/14 season.

Career

Association

Wells began her career in the youth academy of the New Jersey Association based in Parsippany Soccer Club, where she belonged to the Parsippany Gazelles 89. In addition, she played between 2002 and 2006 for the Montclair Mounties, the women's football team the Montclair High School. During her anthropology studies at Georgetown University Wells ran for the local team of Georgetown Hoyas and played briefly in 2010 for the W - League team New Jersey Rangers. In the 2012 season, Wells played for Kopparbergs / Göteborg FC in the Damallsvenskan, won the Swedish Cup competition there and came several times in the Champions League action. On September 6, 2013, the Bundesliga club 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam announced the commitment Wells' for two seasons.

Wells played for U.S. youth teams in age groups U- 20 and U- 23rd With the U -20, she won the title at the World Championships in 2008 and came in the tournament to five inserts.
