Alex Singer (footballer)

Alexandra " Alex " Singer ( born November 18, 1987 in New York City, New York) is an American soccer player. The defensive player stands at the 1st FFC Turbine Potsdam under contract.

Career

Singer was born in New York City and grew up in Rye. She attended five years the Rye High School and made a short time later her bachelor's degree at the University of Virginia.

In 2006, she started her professional career in the WPSL and was in the first year masters. In 2007 she moved to the W-League club Washington Freedom in 2007 and champion here with their club. In the years 2009 and 2010 she played for the Washington Freedom team in the U.S. professional league Women's Professional Soccer (WPS ), for which she ran aground twenty times. During the season breaks they played in the Australian W-League for Perth Glory. In January 2011 she joined the Swedish Damallsvenskan to Dalsjöfors GoIF. The Ascended just in the top flight team was relegated as a Table again.

In January 2012, she signed a contract with the Bundesliga side Turbine Potsdam. With turbine she won the German championship in 2012.
