Career
Clubs
Elsig played until 2009 (together with the male youth, from the C- youth with special permission ) for the FC Düren Niederau 08, the local club where they were born, and was the 2009/10 season from second division club Bayer 04 Leverkusen committed. Following its premiere season she managed with the team promotion to the Bundesliga in which they 15 August 2010 (1st Round ), in the 0:9 defeat in the away game against FCR 2001 Duisburg, made her debut. On 5 September 2010 ( 4th Round ) she succeeded in a 3-2 victory at home to VfL Wolfsburg, the deficit to 2-1 in the intervening 71 minutes, their first Bundesliga goal.
11 May 2012 it was announced that Elsig changes to the 2012/13 season 1 FFC Turbine Potsdam, in which she signed a three-year contract. On 28 May 2012 she suffered in the last game of the season 2011/12 a cruciate ligament injury and then had to pause for long. Having initially denied two games for the second representation of Potsdam, she debuted on April 28, 2013 ( 20th Round ) for the Bundesliga team when they substitute in the 3-0 win at home against their former club a few minutes from time for Pauline Bremer been.
National
On 11 April 2007 Elsig made her debut in the U-15 national team, which won 2-0 in Buckinghamshire on the selection of England; four more matches in 2007 followed. On 30 October 2007, she crowned her debut in the U-16 Nationalmannachaft who won 7-0 in Wiesloch on the choice of France, with its first two international goals. Until July 5, 2008, she played seven more games, the last four as part of the tournament at the Nordic Cup.
