Ashu Kasim

Ashu Kasim (born 20 October 1984) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner.

In 2003, she finished 47th at the World Half Marathon Championships in Vilamoura. In 2006 she arrived at the road race World Championships in Debrecen in 17th place and won with the Ethiopian team silver.

In 2007, she was at the Pan-African Games in Algiers fourth over 10,000 m, Sixth the Philadelphia Half Marathon and second in the 15 km race at the Istanbul Marathon, and the following year at the Fifth Delhi Half Marathon.

In 2009, she moved to an eleventh place at the RAK Half Marathon on the 42.195 -km distance. The Paris Marathon, she finished fourth and the Istanbul Marathon runner-up. In 2010 she was first fifth at the Los Angeles Marathon and third parties at the Prague Marathon and then presented at the Istanbul Marathon a course record.
