Aspremont (Alpes-Maritimes)
Aspremont is a commune with 2195 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Alpes-Maritimes department in the Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur; it belongs to Arrondissement Nice and Canton Levens.
History
After the abandonment of Aspremont le Vieux 1426 the formerly fortified place in concentric circles was built at the foot of Mont- Chauve on a hill that dominates the way from the valley of the Var Paillon.
