Saint -Jean- Cap- Ferrat is the name of a commune and a small town with harbor facilities in the region Provence- Alpes- Côte d' Azur, the Alpes-Maritimes department, Arrondissement Nice, Canton of Villefranche -sur -Mer with a total of 2014 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Geography

The municipality and the town of Saint -Jean- Cap- Ferrat is located on the Côte d'Azur on the peninsula of Cap Ferrat, between Nice and Monaco, which is surrounded on three sides by the sea.

Neighboring municipalities are: Villefranche -sur -Mer in the west and Beaulieu -sur -Mer in the east.

• La Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild also " Villa Ile -de -France " known, is one of the most beautiful Neo-Renaissance palace on the Côte d' Azur. Built between 1905 and 1912 in Saint -Jean- Cap- Ferrat by Baroness Béatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild ( 1864-1934 ).
