Astrid Uhrenholdt Jacobsen

Astrid Jacobsen watches Holdt ( born January 22, 1987 in Trondheim ) is a Norwegian cross-country skier.

Career

The Norwegian took part in two World Junior Championships. In 2005, she won silver in the sprint in Rovaniemi ( Finland). A year later she became double world champion. Your debut in the World Cup celebrated Jacobsen in March 2005 in Drammen, Norway.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships in Sapporo 2007 she won the gold medal in the sprint and along with Marit Bjørgen in the team sprint and with Vibeke Skofterud, Marit Bjørgen and Kristin Steira Størmer in the 4x5 km relay bronze medals.

Private

On February 7, 2014 the day of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympics in Sochi, died unexpectedly, her brother, the cross-country skiers and training partner at the IL Heming, Sten Anders Jacobsen. More detailed information on the cause of death are not known.
