Autobianchi Stellina

The Autobianchi Stellina was a small spider, the Italian carmaker Autobianchi produced in the years 1964 and 1965. Technically the vehicle based on the Fiat 600 D, but had its own body of fiberglass-reinforced plastic. It was the first Italian car with a fiberglass body. The car had the 767 cc four-cylinder engine of the Fiat 600 D ( 21 kW ) at the rear fitted with a power of 29 hp and all-round drum brakes.

The car with the elegant styling of Tom Tjaarda 1963 was presented at the Motor Show in Turin and sold a year later for almost 1 million lire.

By 1965, only 502 were built Stellina. This year, Fiat unveiled the slightly larger Fiat 850 Spider front.
