Baby I Love U! (also written as a baby I ♥ U! ) is a song by American singer Jennifer Lopez. The song was written by her, Cory Rooney, Dan Shea and John Barry and produced by Cory Rooney and Dan Shea. The song appeared on Lopez 's third music album This Is Me .. Then ( 2002) where the song was released in the spring of 2004 as the fourth and last single. In the United States the song was one of the most unsuccessful in Lopez's career, reaching only number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100, however, the song debuted in the UK at number three on the British charts ( behind DJ Casper Cha Cha Slide and Britney Spears Toxic ). Later space 56 of the " best-selling singles of the year 2004", the song reached in the UK, with around 80,000 copies sold. The song contains an interpolation of John Barry's Midnight Cowboy song from 1969, the title song for the same film.
