Hold You Down is a song by American singer Jennifer Lopez. The song was released in 2005 on her fourth music album Rebirth and was released on 15 February 2005 as the second and final single from the album. The song is a duet with American rapper Fat Joe Lopez colleagues. The song reached number 64 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 6 in the UK. When Eliel Remix of the song Lopez worked with Don Omar. This remix was played by many American hip hop stations. The song also appeared on Fat Joe's sixth music album All or Nothing. The song Samplet Shirley Murdock As We Lay Hit of the year 1986.

The song was mainly produced by Cory Rooney, who had already worked in the past with Lopez. However, Hold You Down was not as successful as its predecessor Get Right. Hold You Down was only a moderate success for Lopez worldwide. Many fans are criticizing Lopez, as she has released as a second single Hold You Down.

Music Video

The director for the music video for Hold You Down led Diane Martel with Paul Martínez. It was filmed in March 2005 in the Bronx, New York City. Lopez sings on the top of a building and in a large hall, while Fat Joe raps on the streets.
