Bad Robot Productions

Bad Robot Productions ( previously only Bad Robot ) is a production company of JJ Abrams. It is mainly for the television series Alias - known limiting cases of the FBI, as well as for the movies Star Trek and Mission - The Agent, Lost and Fringe: Impossible - Ghost Protocol.

Bad Robot was originally part of Touchstone Television, but moved with JJ Abrams to Paramount Pictures, Universal Studios, Columbia Pictures, Screen Gems, Walt Disney Pictures, Lionsgate and Warner Bros. after the contract expired with Touchstone, 2006. Bad Robot -produced Lost in collaboration with ABC Studios, formerly Touchstone Television. The two companies also produced Six Degrees and What About Brian together.

Abrams is the Chairman / Chief Executive Officer and Bryan Burk Executive Vice President of the company.

The production logo of the company exists since 2001, and includes a red rectangular robots silhouetted running through a meadow before he is suddenly standing in front of the camera, followed by " Baaad Robot! " In a voice-over by Abrams children Gracie and Henry.
