Bathurst (TTC)

Bathurst is an underground subway station in Toronto. It lies on the Bloor- Danforth line of the Toronto Subway, at the intersection of Bloor Street and Bathurst Street. The station has side platforms, is used daily by an average of 28 310 passengers (2009 /10).

There is a transfer possibility to a bus route. Also located close to the station, a turning loop tram. It is the terminus of line 511, which runs along the Bathurst Street to Exhibition Place. Every year in August during the Canadian National Exhibition operate from here numerous special trips. The opening of the station took place on 26 February 1966 in conjunction with the section Keele - Woodbine. The tram service north of Bloor Street was set on the same day; the route is now used only as access to the main workshop.
