Beate Bühler

Beate Bühler ( born April 8, 1964 in Stuttgart, today Beate Faure ) is a former German volleyball player and beach volleyball player.

Beate Faure now lives with her French husband and two children in Stéphane Gradignan at Bordeaux.

Career

Beate Bühler was 341fache German national team. In 1984 she participated with the West German national volleyball team at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles and finished in sixth place there. Buhler played very successfully for the clubs TuS Stuttgart, SV Lohhof (four times German champion), Racing Paris (four times champion of France ), TSG Tübingen and the USC Munster.

Parallel to indoor volleyball started Beate Bühler on the side of Danja Müsch a career in beach volleyball and was immediately in her first beach season 1994 European Champion. In 1995, she won for the first time the German Championship in Timmendorfer beach. The following year it was enough only for third place nationally, but internationally there have been some successes. The duo Bühler / Müsch reached the final of the European Championship came at the World Tour finals three times (Italy, Indonesia and Belgium), finishing in seventh place at the Olympic Games in Atlanta. She was honored by the Sports Federation of Münster at Sports Ball 1993 Sportswoman of the Year. In addition, Beate Bühler Award 1995 and 1996 as beach volleyball player of the year.
