Beauce Jaros

The de Beauce Jaros was a Canadian ice hockey franchise in the North American Hockey League from Saint -Georges, Quebec.

History

The Jaros de Beauce were established in 1975 as a franchise of the North American Hockey League. In the 1975/76 season they were right off the bat the first East Division and reached the playoffs in the final of the Lockhart Cup. In this they were subject to the Philadelphia Firebirds in the best- of-seven series with 2:4 defeats. In the following season the Jaros withdrew their team on 22 December 1976 prematurely from playing the North American Hockey League back and took this in the following period no longer on.
