Berettyóújfalu ( German Brettenbach ) is a city on a small area Berettyóújfalu in Hajdú -Bihar county in eastern Hungary. The city is named after the 167.3 km long river Berettyó. Covering an area of ​​170.98 km ² live 15,317 inhabitants ( 2011).

History
