Berg is a municipality in the province (county ) Troms in Northern Norway.

It lies on the western side of the island of Senja in the North Atlantic and includes the coastal settlements Hamn, Finnsæter, Straumsbotn, Bergsbotn, Skaland, Bøvær, stone fjord, Ersfjord, Senjahopen and Mefjordvær that are connected by a coastal ring road. The capital and administrative seat is Skaland. Mountain to the southeast on the community of Torsken, to the south and to the east by Tranøy Lenvik.

The municipality Mountain was the first place in the world with electric street lighting. In 1961 the Lutheran church and mountain Torsken the first of Norway, which was led by a pastor.

Like most municipalities in Northern Norway has mountain had a solid decline in population in recent years.
