Bermuda national football team

The Bermudan national football team is the national football team of the British overseas territory, Bermuda. It is one of the worst teams of the CONCACAF continental federation. So far, it's the team not been able to qualify for the CONCACAF Gold Cup or the Football World Cup.

Most of the players of the national team play in the Bermuda Hogges, a cofounder of national coach Lightbourne team in Bermuda, which competes in the USL Second Division in the U.S. professional football.

World Cup Qualifiers

As part of the qualification for the World Cup 2010 in South Africa, the team met in the first round of the CONCACAF region to the national team of the Cayman Islands, who were defeated with 1:1 and 3:1. In the second round they met in Trinidad and Tobago. In the first leg 2-1 away victory succeeded in the highly favored opponents, but won the return leg Trinidad and Tobago 2-0, which meant the departure of Bermuda.
