2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup

The CONCACAF Gold Cup 2003 was the 17th playout of the continental championship in football for North, Central America and the Caribbean, and 7 under the name " Gold Cup " and was held from July 12 to 27 in the U.S. and Mexico instead.

It was attended by twelve teams first played against each other in four groups of three and then competed against each other in elimination rounds. A total of 20 matches were played. In addition to three Caribbean, four Central American and three North American representatives participated with Colombia and Brazil, two guest teams from South America part.

Mexico won the final 1-0 through a golden goal against Brazil and thus qualified for the FIFA Confederations Cup 2005 in Germany.
