1963 CONCACAF Championship

The CONCACAF Nations Cup 1963 was the first playout of a continental championship in football for North, Central America and the Caribbean was held from 23 March to 7 April in El Salvador instead. It was played at the Estadio Cuscatlan in San Salvador ( 39,000 ) and in Santa Ana at the Estadio Oscar Quiteño (15,000 ). The nine participants were divided into two groups, the top two moved into the second group stage, where each was determined against each of the first CONCACAF champions in a single round.

Qualification

All games took place in the framework of the " Seaga cups " in Kingston ( Jamaica). Whether the games of Jamaica at this tournament also served to qualify for the Nations Cup, is not known.

Group B

All matches of this group took place in Santa Ana.

Final round

All games were held in San Salvador.
