Bernard James

Bernard James ( born February 7, 1985 in Savannah, Georgia ) is an American professional basketball player who is active for the Dallas Mavericks in the North American professional league NBA since 2012.

Career

James began at the age of 18 years with the basketball games after he had joined the U.S. Air Force. He served six years for the Air Force and reached the rank of Staff Sergeant. From 2010 to 2012, James attended the Florida State University ( FSU) and won 2012 with the Florida State Seminoles resident ACC Championship. He is considered one of the most outstanding basketball player in FSU history.

After completing his Collgelaufbahn James filed for the NBA Draft in 2012. He was selected to 33 out of Cleveland Cavaliers and transferred the same evening along with Jae Crowder and Jared Cunningham in exchange for Kelenna Azubuike and Tyler Zeller to the Dallas Mavericks. On July 25, 2012, he officially signed his rookie contract.
