Besa River

BW

The Besa River is a right tributary of the Prophet River at Peace River Regional District in the north of the Canadian province of British Columbia.

The Besa River rises on the southern flank of the Great Snow Mountain in the Muskwa Ranges, a mountain range in the northern part of the Canadian Rocky Mountains. He initially flows in a southeasterly direction and flows through the Redfern Lake. He spent a short time later to the north. At the confluence of Kelly Creek, he again changes its direction to the east. Now the Besa River the Redfern - Keily Provincial Park leaves. After the Neves Creek empties into the Besa River, the Besa River flows north again. Finally he meets the flowing westward Prophet River. The Besa River has a length of about 110 km.
