Björn Andersson (footballer born 1982)
Björn Andersson (born 13 February 1982) is a Swedish football player. The midfielder, who competed in Sweden and Norway respectively in the top division, debuted in 2008 for GAIS in the Allsvenskan.
Career
Start your career in Sweden
Andersson began playing football at Fåglums IF before the the time used as a defender for FK Trollhättans moved to the youth. After the merger of the club for FC Trollhättan Trollhättan IF he played for them in the third-class Västra Götaland Division 2. In 2005 he reached the club, the runner-up behind Qviding FIF, the rise in the Superettan. He made up for the competitors interesting, who signed him for the second division. There he came in 17 games this season for use, but could not prevent the re- direct descent of the club.
After the end of the season of Allsvenskan club GAIS announced the commitment Andersson. At the Gothenburg club he signed a contract valid until 2010 and was given the shirt number " 22". At the beginning of the 2008 he came as a defender for use, but soon lost his place. After he had come in the middle of the season as a substitute in the offense for use, he established himself at the end of the season as a regular force in the attack of the club.
From November plagued Andersson a groin injury that he initially wanted to cure without surgical attack. In January, he had to ultimately undergo surgery. Therefore, coach Alexander Axén had to give at the beginning of the 2009 to him. The end of May he returned to the football field, but did not arrive until end of the season on the role of Einwechselspielers addition. In the 2010 re- team regular, he attracted the interest of foreign soccer clubs.
Move abroad
In early January 2011, Andersson wrote to the Norwegian club Viking Stavanger a valid contract until the end of 2012. Under coach Åge Hareide it only remained the role of the spare man with his new club. Return to Sweden
Two years after his move to Norway Andersson returned to GAIS, the Premiership relegation announced in mid-December an agreement despite the economic problems of the club.
