Bob Jones Award
The Bob Jones Award is the highest award of the United States Golf Association ( USGA). The award bears his name in honor of Bobby Jones (1902-1971 ). It is awarded annually since 1955 in recognition of outstanding sportsmanship in golf, which corresponds to the "spirit of Bobby Jones ", his personal qualities and his attitude towards the game and the players.
